EXECUTIVE BRANCH - OSTP, PCAST, NSTC, AND FCCSET WEBSITES/ARCHIVES

1. CLINTON LIBRARY WEBSITE - www.clintonlibrary.gov/archivesearch.html

   The Clinton Library website now has 5 historical "snapshot" versions of the Clinton-Gore White House website at specific dates/times during the Clinton Administration: (1) Version 1 - November 1995; (2) Version 2 - August 1999; (3) Version 3 - July 2000; (4) Version 4 - July-December 2000 mix of audio, video etc., and (5) Version 5 - the last days of the Clinton-Gore administration in 2001.

   NOTE: Many, but not all, direct links from clicking on the individual 5 snapshot versions do not exist. NOTE: HOWEVER, a wealth of information about OSTP, PCAST, and NSTC still can be found via the snapshots through the little search engine box just before Version 1 and that apparently leads you to another archive full of information. For example, search for "Gibbons." Search for "PCAST," etc. and you find items of all kinds - press releases, speeches, testimony. You just have to be creative with your search terms - last names of OSTP individuals yields a lot, e.g., "Lane" - so does subject matter, e.g., "PNGV" or "National Bioethics Advisory Commission," etc.

2. President's Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) - Clinton-Gore Administration - created by Executive Order on November 23, 1993 - www.OSTP.gov/cs/pcast

   The current Executive Office of the President (EOP) hosts the official ongoing site and Archive of 24 PCAST Reports and Letters to the President issued by the PCAST of the Clinton-Gore Administration (1993 - 2001). PCAST Home Page: Sections include (1) About PCAST, (2) Meetings and Agendas, (3) The "Documents and Reports" page has a link to the PCAST Archive page which is where the Clinton-Gore PCAST documents are found in electronic form.

3. National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) - Clinton-Gore Administration - created by Executive Order November 23, 1993. Reports issued from May 1995 - December 2000 - www.OSTP.gov/cs/nstc

   The current Executive Office of the President (EOP) hosts the official ongoing site and Archive of 120 Reports issued by the NSTC of the Clinton-Gore Administration (1993-2001). The NSTC Home Page Sections include (1) About NSTC, (2) Meetings and Agendas, (3) Documents and Reports.. The Documents and Reports page lists reports from the Bush Administration. Click on the left side bar of Documents and Reports - NSTC Archives - for a listing of Clinton-Gore NSTC reports. Click on the left side bar of Documents and Reports - FCCSET reports for a listing of pre-Clinton-Gore reports going back to 1964.
